Ignorance & Knowledge

As we know, there is good knowledge and there is bad knowledge. There is also Bible knowledge applicable for today, and Bible knowledge which isn’t applicable today.

Which of these we choose to believe and apply to ourselves as believers or unbelievers today in the Dispensation of God’s Grace will have eternal consequences either way.

The doctrine churchianity and some believers choose to IGNORE or on the other hand, obey, will be the reason God will judge all men in future.

The word IGNORE after all, relates to the word IGNORance. So, whether one ignores Paul’s instructions and doctrine willfully or not, it won’t change the eternal consequences due to one’s IGNORance, as God has given mankind two witnesses, namely, (1) a complete canon of the Bible and (2) Ambassadors for Christ who have in turn been given the ministry of reconciliation.

——————–

Romans 3:20
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

The law serves only one purpose today: it is the yardstick whereby lost men are identified as the sinners God says they are, thereby the conclusion can be drawn that they are in need of a Saviour, a Saviour who has already provided the means whereby they can be forgiven of their sin, upon whose work the word of reconciliation is based (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

But the devilish doctrine of Universalism chooses to IGNORE this doctrine for today, hence its IGNORANCE relating to God’s words revealed to Paul. To the Universalist, the word “sin” is anathema. In his/her eyes, all men are forgiven irrespective of whether they have faith or not. The Calvinist on the other hand does away with Man’s God-given free will to either choose salvation or to suffer eternal hell fire.

Furthermore, modern day Judaizers, like the Jews of times past, have a zeal for God but not according to (the correct) knowledge, so their faith and worship of Him is vain.

Romans 10:2
For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

Sadly, churchianity with all its zeal and supposed worship, ignores Paul’s gospel and the dispensational knowledge of faith without works thus replacing it with Covenant theology for its salvation, which in turn is based on faith + works which is not truth for today.

This makes churchianity an enemy of the Cross, but Christ died for His enemies, so even they can be saved, as was the church, the Body of Christ at Colosse saved/reconciled to God as their sins had been forgiven by God’s grace through faith.

Which is corroborated here:

Colossians 1:21-23
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Colossians 2:12
Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

——————–

The Corinthians, albeit saved, lacked godly knowledge – they were ignorant, so although they were reconciled to God (saved) as far as their souls were concerned, they lacked reconciliation to God in their ministries which can be seen in both what they believed, as well as by their behaviour.

1 Corinthians 15:34
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Which is corroborated here:

2 Corinthians 5:20
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Of all Paul’s epistles written to the various members of the church, the Body of Christ, the modern Grace (non) Movement today is mostly like the Corinthian church.

1) They are divided

1 Corinthians 1:10
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

2) They fail to discern between the God ordained offices of leadership and authority in the church.

1 Corinthians 3:4
For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

Not everyone in the Body of Christ can be a teacher. The Body of Christ also requires leaders.

The reason why the modern Grace (non) Movement is in the state it’s in today, is because there aren’t (m)any leaders, only teachers…

A leader disciplines people.

1 Corinthians 8:2
And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.

A leader charges Saints to teach no other doctrine.

1 Timothy 1:3
As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

Teachers can teach without being in agreement with others, and this is what is mostly happening today – too many teachers and no leaders… as leaders cannot lead without being in agreement with other members and they govern behaviour too… whereas teachers only teach ideas.

3) They preach gospel perversion in many more ways than the Corinthians did.

1 Corinthians 15:12
Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

4) They have no moral compass

1 Corinthians 5:1
It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife.

5) Rebuke is conveniently dismissed as it is seen as having dominion over their faith, and is done by quoting the following verse out of context:

2 Corinthians 1:24
Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.

One’s joy incorporates heeding rebuke and reproof in order to continue on the path of joy which basis can only be found in truth.

Most deny there are any offices of leadership in the church today, but Paul who is our pattern, states otherwise:

Philippians 1:1
Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

Of course, it is noteworthy to mention that Timothy wasn’t addressed as “Bishop Timothy”, but just plain “Timothy” who instilled order and direction in the church at Ephesus.

2 Corinthians 1:1
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia;

1 Timothy 5:17
Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
