This man believes that God made a covenant with pagan Gentiles, and then conveniently quotes what God said to Israel to back up his stance.  He also believes in water baptism (a work), and confession (a work) and he quotes from a perverted Bible version, namely the New King James Bible.  Then he goes on to say that God isn’t the author of confusion, but he himself cannot discern when God is talking to Israel and not Gentiles.

Deuteronomy 33:1-3 clearly states “the children of Israel”.  It doesn’t state “all the nations”.

And he obviously thinks I’m worshipping the Apostle Paul……..

Romans 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

Where did God ever give the Levitical and Mosaic Law to Gentiles? He gave the Law to Moses who in turn gave it to the…….. children of Israel, namely the Jews – and there wasn’t a Gentile in sight…..

Gentiles had to prostelyze to the Jewish faith in times past in order to be saved and blessed, they were known as prostelytes.   They had to protelyse before God would evem consider them, but of course this important fact is conveniently pushed aside in order for everyone to be put into a covenant today with God, and so obviously to keep the law, when the Apostle Paul clearly stated :

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Galatians 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

The Apostle Paul never considered himself a candidate for beatification?   If anyone finds in the authorised King James Bible where it states that anyone or any Apostle is to be beatified,  please let me know……….. because it simply isn’t there – it’s a man-made Catholic doctrine.

I know where this person is coming from – he thinks I’m “beatifying the Apostle Paul” above the other 12 Apostles, and all the verses he quotes for salvation are taken out of the synoptic Gospels written to Israel and the Old Testament – written to Israel, not to mention the Psalms which are also written to Israel.

He only proceeds to quote Paul when Paul says he’s the least of the saints, which actually means he was humble and put others before himself during his ministry, unlike the Pope today, of course who isn’t the most humble person on the planet, but yet they will “beatify” him some day without a doubt.

Of course, the irony is totally lost on people who are caught up in this sort of thing.

The Apostle Paul specifically said we are to follow him today :

1 Corinthians 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

He also said that he was a pattern to those who would HEREAFTER believe on Him to life everlasting – is that too difficult to understand?  What does the word hereafter mean?

1 Timothy 1:16

Howbeit, for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first, Jesus Christ might shew forth all long suffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

Here is the message I received :

“Who are the saints of God? God’s saints are those who are under His covenant. A covenant is an agreement between God and mankind.

Psalm 50:5 “Gather My saints together to Me, Those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.” (NKJV)

Deuteronomy 33:1-3 Now this is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death. 2. And he said: “The Lord came from Sinai, And dawn on them from Seir; He shone forth from Mount Paran, And He came with ten thousand saints; From His right hand Came a fiery law for them. 3 Yes, He loves the people; All His saints are in Your hands; They sit down at Your feet; Everyone receives Your words.(NKJV)

Yes, those under under the old covenant were saints of God. The people under the old covenant were saints and they did not have to be placed in a canon of saints and then enacted by the ecclesiastical rule of church authority and approved by Moses.

1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. (NKJV)

All men in God’s churches are saints. The body of Christ are God’s saints; one and all.

Ephesians 3:8 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ. (NKJV)

The apostle Paul did not consider himself a candidate for beatification. Why not, because there is no such title of “Super Saint” found in Scripture. Paul said he was the least of saints.

If there was a class of God like “Super Saints” that men could worship, by petitioning them through prayer, the apostle Paul certainly would have qualified. GOD IS A JEALOUS GOD, HE DOES WANT MEN TO WORSHIP ANY SAINT, DEAD OR ALIVE, BY PRAYING TO THEM.

Ephesians 6:18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—(NKJV)

These Christians were not praying for dead saints. These were live saints praying for other live saints. Saints are all members of the body of Christ; nothing more and nothing less.

There are no Scriptures that mention a beatification of saints, through a canonical process; thereby turning a selected few into “SUPER SAINTS.”

The qualification for sainthood under the new covenant are:
A. FAITH: John 3:16
B. CONFESSION: Romans 10:9-10
C. REPENTANCE: Acts 3:19, Acts 2:38
D. WATER BAPTISM Mark 16:16, 1 Peter 3:20-21

When you come up out of the watery grave of baptism you are saved, you are a child of God, you are a member of the Lord’s church, your are part of the body of Christ, you have been clothed with Christ, you have received the gift of the Holy Spirit, your sins have been forgiven, you are a member of the church of Christ, you have been raised to walk in a new life, you have been washed by the blood of Jesus, you are in the kingdom of God here on earth. YOU ARE A SAINT!”

This last paragraph denotes baptismal regeneration, now compare it to what the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 pertaining to how a person is really saved in this current dispensation of grace :

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
