THE KEY TO UNDERSTANDING THE AUTHORISED KING JAMES BIBLE

2 Timothy 2:15 ~ Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Does the Apostle Paul say listen, to shew thyself approved unto God?  Does he say read to shew thyself approved unto God?  Does he say believe everything you hear to shew thyself approved unto God?  And does the Apostle Paul say study to shew thyself saved?

Nope.

He says study to shew thyself approved unto God.

A layabout?  A sponge?  An amoeba?

Nope.

A workman.

What does a workman do?

Does he hang around doing nothing, does he sleep all day long, is he totally disinterested?  Is he only around to give his 2 cents worth and show his ignorance?

Nope.

He labours.

Why?

In order not to be ashamed at the Judgment Seat of Christ. (Remembering that the Judgment Seat of Christ is only for saved people).

What is the word of truth?

According to Ephesians 1:13 it’s the gospel of your salvation.

Why do we need to rightly divide it?

Because there’s more than one gospel of your salvation in the Bible, and you need to study the nomenclature which is applicable for today, namely Pauline truth, otherwise you will be straddling both Israel’s Kingdom nomenclature which isn’t in effect today, along with Pauline nomenclature which is – and you’ll be confused as to what God’s will truly is and how He is operating in this current dispensation.

You will not be clear as to what your marching orders are as a saved member of the body of Christ if you do not study to shew thyself approved unto God……… rightly dividing the word of truth.
