13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Those that don’t believe in a pre-tribulation rapture (the appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ, cannot fathom the meaning of the words “blessed hope”.
Blessed hope isn’t wrath. The blessed hope is when we meet the Lord in the air before God’s wrath begins.
The Apostle Paul clearly states we as believers are looking for that blessed hope, AND the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.
As a believer I look for that day everyday in order to untie myself from these earthly shackles that restrain me in order to be with the Lord forever.
