2 Timothy 2:15 – Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. ~ King James Bible.
The Not Inspired Version claims :
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
This probably falls in line with their great “respect” for the Bible, yet they don’t know what it actually states because they don’t know what 2 Timothy 2:15 means. All of them claim to be Bible believers, yet when given the truth they turn away from it.
Ephesians 1:13 – In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, ~ King James Bible.
The Not Inspired Version states :
And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.
The NIV version of Ephesians 1:13 sounds like something a “Joint-heir with Christ” would believe – a deposit guaranteeing their inheritance until the redemption of those who are in God’s possession…..
Galatians 2:7-9 –
7 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;
8 (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)
9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
