1 Corinthians 11:29

For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

  1. condemnation to eternal punishment in hell.

Anyone who partakes of the Lord’s supper today – can you please explain the above verse to me and tell me how that when you eat and drink it unworthily – how do you drink damnation to yourself?

But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

Why women today don’t cover their heads when they “prophesy”?

10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

Question :  How does a believer, a member of the body of Christ eat or drink damnation to him/herself?

Question : Why don’t the women wear head coverings when they pray today?

Question : Was the New Testament written to us?

If you say I’m a 28er for not partaking of the Lord’s supper, I want to know how a person who is in Christ drinks or eats damnation to him/herself.

A simple question that requires a simple answer.     To my mind, if you partake of the Lord’s supper today, the women also need to cover their heads, as well as drink the cup in rememberance to the New Testament.  We can’t pick and choose which ordinance we would like to partake of – to me, it’s all or nothing, and since only Jewish women covered their heads, and the fact that the New Testament was given to Israel, I reckon the Lord’s supper isn’t mine to celebrate either.

Don’t hold back now, let me have it 🙂
