Ephesians 2:1 ~ And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
WHO WERE DEAD IN TRESPASSES AND SINS.
Ephesians 2:5 ~ Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
EVEN WHEN WE WERE DEAD IN SINS.
1 Corinthians 15:56 ~ The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
THE STING OF DEATH IS SIN.
Colossians 2:13 ~ “And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;”
AND YOU BEING DEAD IN YOUR SINS.
And you say that no-ones sins are being imputed today?
One can only have one’s sins FORGIVEN when one believes in Christ’s FINISHED work on Calvary’s cross. How that He died for your sins, was buried and rose again on the third day.
Colossians 1:14 ~ In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
EVEN THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS…….
Imputation means possession – and since we were dead in our sins – we owned them, they were imputed to us, BUT NOW we are forgiven and our sins are no longer imputed to us because why? Because we are saved, and how are we saved? By believing the Gospel.
Fact – you can’t be dead in your trespasses if they aren’t imputed to you.
Fact – you can’t obtain the forgiveness of sins if they aren’t imputed to you.
Fact – the sting of death can’t be sin since your sin wasn’t imputed to your account?? Seriously?
Your belief system totally contradicts God’s words in the Bible.
