Many don’t realise it, but full-scale tribulation was upon Israel after Jesus ascended to heaven with the following words :
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
And it’s corroborated by Peter when he says in Acts 2:
ACTS 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
It is further emphasized by the persecution and martyring of not only Stephen, but other members of The Way as well, with the result of most of them fleeing abroad :
Acts 8:1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.
But this didn’t stop them from preaching the Word:
Acts 8:4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
Hence the reason why Israel’s tribulation doctrine is already in place, namely Hebrews to Revelation.
1 Peter 1:6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
1 John 1:Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
A dispensational change however takes place in Acts 9 when the ascended Christ intercepts Saul on his way to Damascus.
If this dispensational change didn’t occur then, the world would be a remarkably different place today, Israel would currently be the light of the world and Christ Himself would be ruling and reigning and we’d all be living in the Millennium Kingdom.
And to think that most of mainline, institutionalised Christianity bases her doctrine on Israel’s tribulation doctrine where it specifically states that when people gave up their possessions, houses and land, the money that was received from the sale of such was distributed amongst the needy, unlike today where false teachers grow exceedingly rich from doing the same. If Israel’s Kingdom Gospel were in effect today, there would be thousands of Ananiases and Sapphiras dying on the spot, without a doubt.
The only reason why people were selling their possessions, land and houses after they learnt the truth, was because they knew they were in the tribulation period, especially the twelve who were instructed to preach the gospel not only in Jerusalem, Judaea and Samaria, but to the uttermost parts of the earth.
Since Israel has already experienced part of her prophesied tribulation, how many years do you think she’ll have left to endure to the end in times to come?
It is also clear in Acts 2 that the Jews were told of the crime they had committed : that they crucified and slew the Son of God who now sits at the right hand side of God, and they were pricked in their hearts – they felt guilt and remorse and ask what could be done to correct the wrong they had done and Peter tells them to repent and be baptised, which they obeyed. But modern day Christianity takes this to be the gospel and in effect make themselves guilty of the crucifying and slaying of Christ, then they go on to put themselves into the tribulation (without realising it).
They read how God will rescue people out of tribulation if they are faithful and live righteous lives, but they read it in the context that the bad times in their lives is the tribulation and that God rescues them out of these circumstances and then goes on to bless them financially and materialistically. Makes one wonder what they make of the Millennial Kingdom under these circumstances? Nirvana?
Mainline, denominational, institutionalized Christianity is just one crazy mixed up farce – totally devoid of the truth. How anyone can sit in the pews Sunday after Sunday is beyond me. They’d do much better obtaining an Authorized King James Bible and reading it for themselves – beginning with the book of Romans and then comparing it to the book of James, and taking note of the differences.
The next best thing to do would be to ask WHY the differences? Why 13 Apostles and not 12? Why is the body of Christ only mentioned in the Apostle Paul’s epistles? What was the mystery the ascended Christ revealed to the Apostle Paul? Why does Paul state we’re no longer under the law? What does 2 Timothy 2:15 mean? What is the gospel thats saves men’s souls today?
These are things you need to ask yourself and find (biblical) answers to instead of hanging around a church where their only interest is to line their own pockets and fill their own stomachs – and that at your expense.
It’s all about your money, honey – they aren’t particularly interested in you, and the way to prove it is when you fall on hard times, they aren’t particularly too keen on helping you. You are then requested to “have faith”, and when that doesn’t work, they turn their backs on you because of your “lack of faith”. Those preachers will go to bed at night with a full stomach, have a safe, warm place to stay, a family and financial security and their consciences won’t bleed one iota thinking about you in need – fact.
