Dispensationally discerned

Now :

2 Timothy 2:12-13

12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

A good example of eternal security.  If we deny Him, He will also deny us, but since He lives in us, He cannot deny Himself (in us).  We are His.   Saved and sealed unto the day of redemption  Ephesians 4:30.  “Yet He abideth FAITHFUL.  A person who trusts Christ’s finished work on Calvary’s cross cannot lose his/her salvation.

Faithful :  Unswerving adherence to a person or thing, or to the oath or promise by which a tie was contracted.

Christ cannot deny His body.

Compared to

Times to come :

Matthew 10:32-33

32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Whereas a person who is saved in times to come under the Kingdom Gospel can lose their salvation, the same cannot be said for a saved person during this current dispensation.
