If Roman Catholicism is the whore or harlot that rides the beast (Revelation 17), does that mean the rest of Christianity so-called is above board and correct – that “she” isn’t a harlot/whore?
The book of Revelation is Hebrew – Jewish in nature. Gentiles feature in that they are saved by believing Israel’s Kingdom Gospel or blessing the true Israel. The Kings of the East are her age old enemies.
God won’t be interested in the Vatican or Rome – He’s attention will be on the Jews and those who bless the true Israel in the end times (the tribulation).
God gives the Pope and all Roman Catholics a chance in this current dispensation to be saved, if they reject it, He will give them a stronger delusion, along with all those who reject His will, purpose and plan in this current dispensation.
2 Thessalonians 2
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
The lie they believe is the Antichrist and his false prophet who perform miracles, signs and wonders, and the Antichrist who brings down fire from heaven – Revelation 13:13 – they will believe. After all, people need to see something to believe because they are biblically illiterate, so anyone who performs something supernatural is believed – one can see it clearly today’s world.
Ask almost any denominsationalist-pentecostal-charismatic and they will tell you they are waiting for Elijah to re-appear because they take Malachi 4:5 to be written to them and apply it to TODAY in this current dispensation of God’s grace :
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: (Malachi 4:5)
2 Kings 1:10
And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
Who in their right minds knowing what 2 Thessalonians 2:11 says will want to reject God’s salvation during this current dispensation?
