Religions all have a set of rules that one must adhere to in order to be saved/go to heaven. Religions also have a leader/teacher (dead or alive) who one must believe/trust and follow to reach a higher, more advanced level of existence.
Religions include all of mainline, institutionalized Christianity, Buddhism, Hare Krishna, Hinduism, Judaism, Islam, etc.
Mainline, denominational, institutionalized Christianity professes to follow Christ according to His earthly ministry, to adhere to the 10 commandments (or “God’s law” as they call it) and to advance in life to become just like Him by one’s own good works.
= WORKS, IMPROVEMENT OF THE FLESH, TRYING TO RENEW THE FLESH. It amounts to people trying to justify themselves in the eyes of God.
The faith of Christ says that Christ died for all your sins, was buried and rose again on the third day, and if you BELIEVE same, you are saved.
= FAITH. BELIEVE. GROWTH OF THE INNER (SPIRIT) MAN WHICH IS SAVED
The faith of Christ involves studying scripture rightly divided to show oneself approved unto God after one is saved.
