Of course we should all know by now that not all of the Bible is written TO us, but that all of the Bible is written FOR us, how else would we know about Creation, how Christ died and why, how would we know what God’s plans are for the future?
It doesn’t mean that if you believe the Old Covenant and New Covenant, you have to apply it to yourself.
Some people get so totally wrapped up in the obvious (heathen practises, blatant evil, tin foil hat conspiracies) that they forget that the devil is transformed into an angel of light during this current dispensation.
Which means, he feeds you light, or what appears to be light. It’s good, or appears to be good.
The key word is subtle, or subtility.
What saith the Apostle Paul?
2 Corinthians 11:3 “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”
Some try so bad to convince others of the obvious evil present in the world, they forget to mention the subtle, more invasive evil present in the world.
Heathen Gentiles are doing today what comes naturally, ie., being heathens, just like the Jews are doing what they’ve done for thousands of years – steeped in unbelief. The devil has all bases covered. If he cannot get them to abide by Hinduism, he does it through Islam, and if they “convert to Christianity” he is still blinding their minds, the same can be said for Judaism, as well as Christiany so-called, why, he even has his bases covered in Mid-Acts Dispensationalism – one only has to look at the Berean Bible Society and a certain church which dumbs down the deity of Christ to notice this.
Those who convert to Christianity so-called from any of the false religions think they have finally seen the light and are now accepted of God, that’s why the devil has what seems to be both good and bad theology out there – it’s there to blind the minds of the lost, either way. These people however share the same eternal destiny. It’s like going from 6 of one to half a dozen of the other – same thing, just appears to be different – that’s subtility for you.
Feeding lost people tin foil hat theories and goofy psychological terminology isn’t going to make them see the light, it’s going to make them think you are a total nut case who cannot be trusted and they aren’t going to listen to you unless they’re total nut cases themselves.
People are raised differently, they have different cultures, therefore their beliefs are different. One cannot preach tin foil hat conspiracy theories to someone who has lived all of their lives in a remote corner of the world because they know nothing about The Brain who is set on taking over the world (wink), nor can one use important sounding psychological terms (huh?) on them.
When people get tied up and in a rut trying to convince others that their kitchen appliances are spying on them and there’s 7 billion people on this planet, it makes ya think, doesn’t it. Try and tell the San (bushmen) this sad story – first off, he doesn’t have a television set, nor does he have a refrigerator. *Ding* Epic fail.
Most people are biblically illiterate. They only know the Bible as a book of stories, e.g., you must be as brave as Daniel, as pedantic as Noah, not to eat the “apple” like Adam did….. the worst people (in my opinion) to bring to faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ are the ones who are tied up in religion, as in Christianity, because they are looking to gain something from their faith, like an easier life (on this planet), and Israel’s Old Covenant has all those promises about heaven on earth – if one believes, and if one is good.
You won’t even be able to convince a dyed-in-the-wool New Ager with your conspiracy theories because they believe almost exactly as you do, so why would they want to change to your brand of Christianity in order to believe the same thing?
Most conspiracy theories cannot even be proven – that is why they’re called theories. We all know the devil is the god of this world and that lost men rule this planet, so why do you expect anything better from them? We are in this world, not of it. We cannot change it – build a bridge and get over it. But we can get people saved by the preaching of the gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
One only has to look at some of the writings of Mid-Acts Dispensationalists to realise how mixed up they are – one preaches the gospel of Donald Trump interspersed with the Gospel of Christ and goes off on a tangent with questionable links to the Berean “Bible” Society. Oh yeah………. Donnie is gonna make it ALL alrighty, you see. Dream on. Only an idiot can make a TV series (forgotten its name) about “you’re fired”. Who cares? Donald, the person you really need to fire is your hairstylist. Three wives and counting? Now that’s what I call a “really good example”. He’s a lost man, it can be expected. Whatever.
The other posts about organic, free-range, raw, unfiltered, untouched, unpasteurised…. un whatever – tell that to someone who is starving. They will eat anything to survive.
And since the devil is the god of this world, and most are lost on this planet, it goes without saying that the planets, days of the week and months of the year are named after pagan gods. What are you going to do? Rename them all?
The money you buy food with has a satanic symbol on it, so what are you going to do? Starve? What about the company you work for? Are you going to resign?
It’s all one big yawn, really.
