He says we’re not under the law – Romans 6:14
He says we are saved by faith alone in Christ’s finished work on the cross and His resurrection, without works – 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Ephesians 2:8-9.
He is the 13th Apostle hence it goes without saying, he isn’t part of the 12. Romans 11:13, 2 Timothy 1:11, 1 Corinthians 11:1.
He says we’re justified solely by faith – Philippians 3:9
He says the Corinthians were saved even though they were committing sexual immorality, taking one another to court, causing division in the body of Christ – 1 Corinthians 6:11, 1 Corinthians 6:1, 1 Corinthians 6:5, 1 Corinthians 1:11.
He preached Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery – Romans 16:25.
He tells us there is more than one gospel in the Bible – 2 Timothy 2:15, Ephesians 1:13, Galatians 2:7-9.
Can you imagine how crazy Paul must’ve seemed in his day, preaching faith alone in Christ’s payment for our sins without works, telling people they’re no longer under the law. And those who are followers of Paul today (wrt sound doctrine) seem just as crazy, especially if they don’t tie themselves to the world and the things of the world.
It was “forever and a day” that the world was under the auspices of the Israel’s prophetic programme, and the Gentiles were dogs (mainly/mostly unbelievers) – and along came the Apostle Paul who preached Christ crucified, both to the circumcision and the uncircumcision.
As the world would say, “a nutjob” – for all the right reasons.
