ARE SAVED PEOPLE PREDESTINED?

No.

The body of Christ was predestined.

Romans 8:29 – For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Ephesians 1:11 – In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

PREDESTINATION:

Ephesians 1:4 According as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

God is foreknowing.  It means he is aware of an event before it happens.

God knew before the foundation of the world who would believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and who wouldn’t, but  (the gospel) is there, it is available to and  for all men, so one day no-one can turn around and say to God, “You didn’t give me a chance, you didn’t have mercy on me”.

Currently, God has mercy on all men by way of, through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, it’s on offer, all one needs to do is believe it, but whether they will believe it is an entirely different issue altogether.  Their unbelief will see them at the White Throne Judgment where they will be judged by their own righteousness/sin (works), and their eternal destination unfortunately will be the Lake of Fire.

We are currently living in a time of God’s amnesty – the Dispensation of Grace, where God isn’t judging people and punishing them for their wrongdoing/sin during their tenure on this earth as He did in times past, the plagues of Egypt being one good example.

What goes wrong in your life is due to your own doing, it’s called the law of sowing and reaping, besides, what goes wrong in your life isn’t closely related to or cannot be God’s wrath or judgment because God’s judgment isn’t as miniscule or petty as that – you’ll know God’s wrath judgment when you experience it – the book of Revelation being a good example of God’s wrath.

God is currently pouring out His unmerited favour on mankind by way of the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST – 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.  Whether you take advantage of God’s amnesty (mercy) is entirely up to you as an individual.

Apart from the law of sowing and reaping, we are living in a sin cursed world where tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, famine and war happen.

Romans 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

And living in sin cursed bodies:

21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Dispensation of grace – Ephesians 3:2.  Otherwise known as the time of God’s unmerited favour.  Unmerited:  meaning God’s favour cannot be earned through your own righteousness/good works, hence believing a performance gospel of works + faith won’t/cannot garner God’s favour, hence the reason why the Apostle Paul says we are saved by grace through faith, not of works………

Nowhere in the Hebrew Epistles (Hebrews to Revelation)  or the four synoptic gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John) is the DISPENSATION OF GRACE mentioned because the Apostle Paul says, it was given solely to him to dispense, by the ascended Christ.

Acts 9:

15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
