There is hope

“Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.” ~ Proverbs 26:12

Interestingly, a silly person has more hope than a proud person.

Pride: “Feeling deep pleasure or satisfaction as a result of one’s own achievements, qualities, or possessions or those of someone with whom one is closely associated.”

Most Saints have experience in dealing with proud religious or worldly people who think they have no need for the truth as physically, mentally and emotionally they want for nothing, especially as some are already members of a denominational church, and also have family.

Most these people unfortunately do not/cannot see past physical or fleshly gratification.  They will tell you they are doing okay, so why change anything?

Do these people ever think of eternity?  Do they think of dying? Or are they too busy with their lives to give it as much as a second thought?

Eternity is forever.  It’s a long time to suffer, especially when one doesn’t actually have to go to hell as God has already provided the simple solution.

Believing in Christ’s death for one’s sins, his burial and his resurrection doesn’t cost anything, nor does it  take up one’s time.

Be eternity minded. Don’t let pride dictate where you will spend eternity.

Some day, all will believe

For most, it will be too late though…

They do not know it, but some day they (Atheists, Muslims, Hindus, New Agers, to name but a few) will bow before him, and confess he is Lord.

Philippians 2:10-11
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
