BELIEVING WHAT GOD ACTUALLY SAID/SAYS

One of the problems most people, namely mainline, institutionalised denominationalists have when reading the Bible (and there is only one Bible – the Authorised King James Bible) is the fact that they do not believe what God ACTUALLY SAYS.  A certain number of Calvinists a few centuries ago didn’t believe what God said, so they changed it to suit themselves and their circumstances:

For example in Genesis 12:

“Now the Lord had said unto Jan Van Dyke, Get thee out of thy country which is Holland, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land called South Africa  that I will shew thee:

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

Now, if you are self-righteous and believe the Bible to be a magic book that needs to be “handled correctly” you would probably be having apoplexy right now because “I have the nerve to change God’s words or the Bible”, yet this is what most people do every single day of their lives, hence the reason why most incorrectly apply Israel’s Old Covenant to themselves and take Israel’s Covenant promises for themselves too.

So the main reason for Jan Van Dyke’s current problems from his personal perspective is this:

2 Chronicles 7:14:

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

His people, the chosen ones have turned away from God to wicked ways.  Remember:  Calvinists see themselves as the few chosen by God (limited atonement).

Jan blatantly does not believe who the book of Chronicles was actually written to:

2 Chronicles 7:1-3

1 Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the house.

And the priests could not enter into the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord‘s house.

And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

The only other option remaining which rightfully explains why these people believe as they do is Replacement Theology, i.e., they think they are Israel or the “new Israel”, but I have encountered various others who state, “God was talking to the Jews who are people, the Gentiles are also people, so this applies to them too”.  But WHERE in the Bible does it state that God made a covenant with the Gentiles or Gentile nations in times past?

They believe they are chosen as Israel was.

In Ephesians 2:12 the Apostle Paul is clear when he says that Gentiles had no part in Israel’s covenant or the promises related to this covenant.

One cannot change God’s words to suit oneself, and if you do not believe what God said/says then you are obviously in……….. unbelief.

Unbelief is shown when one has to change scripture or omit scripture or ignore scripture or wrest scripture.

The Bible is sharper than a two-edged sword which means if you believe it as it is written and take scripture in its rightful context and apply that which is meant only for you, it is your friend, but if you change God’s words and wrest them, it becomes your enemy and condemns you.

Believe and apply the word rightly divided, including the grace gospel = friend, reconciled to God, saved, justified, sanctified, approved unto God, glory, eternity.

Unbelief, wresting scripture, bible blending and believing good news meant for another dispensation = enemy, punishment, suffering, lost, hell, regret, wailing.

A two-edged sword.  Something that causes both advantages and problems.  And the Bible is sharper than any two-edged sword.

A TRANSDISPENSATIONAL TRUTH:

Hebrewas 4:12

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

I wrote this in 2011, thought I’d share it here: THE TRAITS OF A RELIGIOUS BIBLE BLENDER

You can study your Bible (and it goes without saying that the only Bible in existence is an Authorised King James Bible) until the cows come home, and you can have historical Bible knowledge, but if you don’t know how to put 2 Timothy 2:15 into effect/to work and know how to rightly divide the Word of Truth, which is the Gospel of your salvation, (Ephesians 1:13), you shall and will remain in scriptural/spiritual ignorance and be a bible blender until you come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:4;  2 Timothy 3:7.

TRAITS OF A RELIGIOUS BIBLE BLENDER:

*Believes salvation is though faith in God/Christ throughout the Bible (one gospel/the same gospel)

*Personally own or take the promises God gave to Israel in times past/times to come for themselves, or apply the book of Genesis to themselves, especially doctrine pertaining to Adam & Eve and Noah who weren’t Hebrews (Jews), but in their confusion they see Adam & Eve and Noah as being Jews who fall under Israel’s Covenant promises.  In short :  they put everyone under Covenant theology from Genesis right through to the Book of Revelation.

*Cannot discern between Israel and the church, the Body of Christ, the One NEW man.  Anything that is new didn’t exist before it was created <~~~ common sense & logic.

*Cannot discern who God is speaking to in the Old Testament (times past – Genesis to John), neither in Paul’s epistles, not to mention in times to come (Hebrews to Revelation, which is Tribulation doctrine for the Little Flock which is true/believing Israel).

*Cannot discern the differences between Pauline doctrine and Hebrew doctrine.  Romans to Philemon versus Hebrews to Revelation; or Romans to Philemon versus Genesis to John, nor can they discern that Adam & Eve and Noah weren’t Hebrews and weren’t under the Covenant God made with Abraham which was future to Adam & Eve and Noah.  There’s a dispensational change between Noah and Abraham, but God’s principles and character remain in tact, remain the same :  He loves righteousness; He is righteous; He wants people to be saved; He is merciful.

*Believe that God works the same way with people throughout the ages, i.e., Israel Old Covenant, Paul’s epistles, as well as the Hebrew epistles.  Same gospel in effect, even in hindsight when looking back in time, they believe Israel during Old Covenant times had a Christ based salvation because of the Old Testament prophecies, some of  which came to fruition at a later time (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John).

*Preterists believe the wrath of God already happened in AD 70 because (a) they aren’t saved; and (b) they cannot rightly divide the word of truth.  1 Corinthians 2:14;

*Amillenialists believe that Christians can assist in bringing about the Millennium Kingdom on this earth during their tenure on this earth.  Only God Himself can bring in the Millennial Kingdom on this earth:  Luke 20:43; Psalm 110:1; Mark 12:36; Matthew 22:44

*Post Tribbers believe that the rapture (the catching away of the Saints)  will occur after the time of Jacob’s Trouble and put the body of Christ in the period of God’s wrath. 1 Thessalonians 5:9.

*Mid Tribbers believe the rapture will occur midway through Jacob’s Trouble and put the body of Christ mid-way through the Tribulation period. (The catching away will occur at the mid-point of the Tribulation).

*Cannot discern nor explain the “contradictions” or differences in the Bible due to dispensational changes, or the different ways God deals with people at different times.  Whereas He called Abram out of Ur, saved Him, renamed Him Abraham and gave Him a promise, today God isn’t calling any one person out of any country and telling them to go elsewhere or promising to turn their descendants into a great nation.  Today He wants us to believe the Gospel of Christ in order to be saved and our promise is different:  All spiritual blessings in heavenly places.  Ephesians 1:3.  Whereas Abraham and His descendants had an earthly promise or promises, we, the body of Christ, the One New Man have heavenly promises.   Their earthly inheritance vs our heavenly inheritance.

*ALL denominations are as a result of bible blending – Catholics, Baptists, Bush Baptists, half-baked Baptists, Out of Church Assemblies, Pentecostals, Methodists, Anglicans, Church of Christ etc, etc, etc, etc.  Why?  Because they don’t know where they are in the Bible, they don’t know the Word of Truth, the Gospel that saves their eternal souls today. Men with corrupt minds, ever learning (Bible stories and occurrences like the flood happened, the wall of Jericho, etc)and never coming to the knowledge of the truth.  2 Timothy 3:7.  Some think that being able to name all of Methuselah’s sons is Bible knowledge or studying the Bible.  It makes them feel good, especially when you’re groveling and don’t even know who the guy is to begin with. (Kidding).

*Replacement theology states the church, the body of Christ, the One New Man has replaced Israel with respect to God’s favour, that there is no way they (Israel)  can return to the fold and be reconciled to God, not in future, not ever.  But the Book of Revelation states otherwise, it speaks to seven Hebrew churches, seven Christ-based Hebrew Churches whose theology/doctrine is performance based.  Faith plus works.  Read the book of Hebrews.

*Vegetarians, especially those involved in cults or caught up in the Holiness Movement believe they/we are rightfully vegetarians because they say, since Adam & Eve were first and hold precedence, (??) and because they were Herbivores, it over-rides the fact that God gave Noah permission to eat meat after the flood, also the fact that we today can eat anything we choose because we “came after Adam & Eve” whose diet has precedence when it comes to the food chain.

*Kosher eating adherents :  Profess that a Kosher diet is God’s will for one’s life and that eating non-kosher food/animals is displeasing to God, and that it is a sin.  Same people fail to adhere to the Levitical commandments concerning the wearing of fabrics, which amounts to nothing other than hypocrisy.

*Law keepers (thinking that one needs to maintain one’s salvation by upholding the 10 commandments) and ignore the other 603 commandments of the Levitical Law.  Hypocrisy.

*Continual repentance – not realising their sins were actually forgiven 2000 years ago on the cross when Christ died for their SINS and rose from the dead,  and in fact all they need to do right now is believe it for their salvation.  Nowhere in the Bible does it state one must repent OF ONE’S SINS.   It mentions repentance, yes, as in turning away from one’s unbelief to belief.  It rather states that in times to come and in times past, people had to/have to confess their sins and place them either on an animal (times past) – a burnt sacrifice, and in future they will confess their sins to the ultimate sacrifice, i.e., the Lord Jesus Christ who is Israel’s perfect Lamb without spot or blemish.  Continual confession – enduring to the end is what will save believers in times to come.

*Lordship salvation – believing one has to make the Lord Jesus Christ the Lord over your life in order to be (eventually) saved, which amounts to nothing other than a performance based gospel because you are working to please Him in order for Him to save you whereas Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us we are saved without works; and 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 tells us what to believe in order to be saved.  Romans 10:9 is part of Israel’s Kingdom Gospel.  It’s confessing with one’s mouth (a work) that He is the son of God (which all of unbelieving Israel do not believe – as we can see in Matthew, Mark, Luke & John, hence the reason they crucified Him).  Paul is talking to Jews in Romans 9, 10 & 11.

Put Christ back into ChristMASS?

Does anyone know what Mass means according to Catholic tradition?

Black mass.  Does anyone out there research these things, or do they fall in line with the herd and believe anything/everything that is “thrown their way”?

Why put Christ back into MASS if He wasn’t there in the first place?

Ignorance.

Unbelief.

Inanity.

Negligence.

Childishness.

Couldn’t be bothered to research the truth.

Christ wasn’t born in December.

Nor do we celebrate His birth for that matter.

Why?

Because logic tells me His birth was for Israel, to become their Messiah (King), to be King of the (earthly) millennial Kingdom.  The promised Kingdom to Israel.  For Israel to repent of her apostasy and accept Him as Messiah and bring in the earthly kingdom as promised to them in the Old Covenant.

Are you Israel?

No.

So where are you in the Bible then?

Have you researched/studied these things?
