Time and again I think of how great it would be to fellowship with ALL Saints, but alas, we do not speak the same things because we do not believe the same things. We do not speak the same language, so to speak.
How can one possibly be expected to have anything to do with saved people on the one hand, who believe and venomously propagate a subtle form of Calvin’s Unconditional Election and Acts 28 theology (everyone’s sins are forgiven but not everyone is saved and Paul only preached to Jews and Gentiles that were nigh in his pre-prison epistles), and on the other hand, there are those who hold to and preach Kenosis.
It’s a minefield out there. These are major issues. As a Saint, one does not lower the bar, one rather raises the bar, irrespective of judgment and condemnation.
This blog is a Unconditional Election – Two Sendings of Paul – Kenotic Theology – Acts 28 theology free zone.
Why do I say “everyone’s sins are forgiven, but not everyone is saved” falls under the banner of Calvin’s Unconditional Election? Because they believe God doesn’t send people to hell for their sins, but rather as He deems fit, that’s why, according to their thinking, people go to hell with their sins forgiven….
Unconditional Election is comprised of two different types of grace, one of which is of no consequence (everyone’s sins are forgiven: as if it matters or makes a difference, as the vast majority of people land up in hell anyway), and the other, which is activated by faith when one believes one’s sins are forgiven….. is this making any sense……?
It’s complicated….. like most doctrines of devils are….. unlike the simplicity that is in Christ. Why believe one’s sins are forgiven, if they’ve already been forgiven? Because they cannot be unforgiven.
Another thing, imagine those from this dispensation landing up in hell with their *sins forgiven* and meeting those from previous dispensations who are in hell because they died in their sins…. does this, would this make God a just God?
It’s like doing something for one’s child, which is of no consequence, and totally pointless. “I have taken away the very thing which stops you from being bad, but I will still punish you anyway….. I know you think what I’ve given you is great…. but you still have to tow the line….. and will only be good when you believe it…. or else….”
The god of Calvinism is not the God of the Bible! The vast majority of Right Dividers believe and spread major heretical doctrine, so one must be careful of who one associates with and what books one reads.
And yes, there ARE actually people out there who believe this stuff – plenty.
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” ~ 2 Corinthians 11:3
