Answer : By what you believe, and when you believe something, you put it into practice.
Denominationalists as a whole are identified by fairy lights, fir trees, holly, tinsel……. and their buildings…….. with steeples (or not) which are known as the CHURCH, as opposed to the body of Christ actually being the church. Colossians 1:18
BUT, not only denominationalists believe this, but non-believers too. Many non-believers, especially those of the Hebrew persuasion partake of Christmas festivities. Tell them it is a Christian festival, and they will deny it, and they would be absolutely correct.
Denominationalists follow the twelve (apostles), under a covenant with blessings and apparently no curses? Own corrupt Bible versions, practice rituals and follow and maintain man-made traditions. Colossians 2:8
If they do own an Authorised King James Bible they do not understand it as they do not rightly divide the word of truth. One can own a house, but if you do not have the keys to open it……….. what would be the point?
Their children are born into the “faith”, yet God does not have any grandchildren…..
They aspire to holy perfection in the flesh and become outward looking rather than inward looking as they start reaching “perfection”, comparing themselves with others. The outcome of self-righteousness is that those who practice always see themselves as being on a higher spiritual plane.
They are identified by Easter and Christmas as opposed to each day being equal, as well as holding the same weight in this current dispensation, i.e., we are no longer required to celebrate one day above another, meaning we no longer esteem the Sabbath and keep it holy, and neither do saved Jews HAVE TO celebrate the Jewish feasts anymore if they do not want to. Colossians 2:16
Their belief system is steeped in hypocrisy, blasphemy and self-reliance. Saying God judges the world by way of earthquakes and hurricanes is blasphemy, and saying good works justifies one in the eyes of God is self-reliance (on one’s good works). Philippians 3:9
Their God-given blessings so-called equate to financial gain, having family and friends, as opposed to suffering with no family and friends and being the offscouring of the world for one’s beliefs. 1 Corinthians 4:13
They are fruit inspectors. They adorn the fruit, not the doctrine. Titus 2:10
They are also identified with water baptism as opposed to being baptised into His death. Romans 6:3, hence they equate Christianity with life as opposed to death. In this dispensation Christ gives us death, not life – in other words we are IDENTIFIED through His death for our sins, burial and resurrection, after all it’s faith in same that saved us……
They are Identified with bearing good fruit, i.e., social causes like helping the lost live a better (earthly) life, as opposed to the preaching of the gospel and saints edified, and seeing the lost gaining eternal life in glory.
Theirs is probation not salvation. The need for continual repentance of their sins sees to this.
They are born-again as opposed to being saved. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
They believe the sins of the fathers are visited upon ensuing generations vs sins are forgiven by grace through faith in Christ’s finished work on the Cross and His resurrection. Colossians 1:14
They keep Sunday as the sabbath as opposed to not being under the law. Romans 6:14
Some believe Saturday to be the sabbath and His second coming FOR THEIR SALVATION, as opposed to His death for sins, His burial and His ressurection (payment for sin debt). Lost men and women keeping a Sabbath which is clearly practising the Law, yet looking for His second coming……….. under tribulation conditions……… 1 Thessalonians 5:9
They believe in repenting of one’s sins, changing one’s lifestyle, becoming a “good” person as opposed to the forgiveness of all sins ONCE-OFF, and being changed by His word which is studied RIGHTLY DIVIDED and is effectively installed in the innerman. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Do not know what the gospel is that saves their eternal souls as opposed to 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
Believe faith OBTAINS salvation and works MAINTAIN salvation. Ephesians 2:8-10
Bible blenders as opposed to Right Division. 2 Timothy 2:15
They are shallow, being identified with tinsel, holly, baubles, fir trees and fairy lights, which isn’t the foundation which the Apostle Paul laid, hence it is like quicksand, their faith and doctrine are all over the place. 1 Corinthians 3:11
They have a very shaky foundation – no faith in the Faith of Christ according to the Apostle Paul (justification by faith alone), but rather hold stubbornly to the Faith of Christ according to the twelve apostles given to Israel (justification by faith in Israel’s Messiah plus works which is basically adherence to the law). Romans 15:8
To them, sound BIBLE KNOWLEDGE puffs up as opposed to wordly knowledge. 1 Corinthians 8:1
From their standpoint, God micro-manages their lives like choosing their spouse…… tells them how many children to have, what to eat and where to live.
They believe that He died, was buried, and rose again on the third day but do not believe it FOR THEIR SALVATION, rather they believe “in Him (His existence), and this, together with doing good works” is what saves them, according to their belief system.
Their Easter long weekend does not equate to three nights and three days that Christ was in the belly of the earth. Matthew 12:40
They have difficulty discerning between Passover and Easter, the former being a Hebrew holyday, and the latter being a pagan holyday or festival. Acts 12:4
Their so-called Christian feast days or holydays equate to nothing but debauchery no matter how hard they try to christianize them. I see so-called Christian holydays as trojan horses – attractive on the outside, but debauched by nature. A pig is still a pig even if you put lipstick on it…..
Most only attend a building which they call “church” twice a year, i.e. on Christ Mass where they move heaven and earth to try and justify that it actually is the celebration of Christ’s birth, not to mention how Easter is the celebration of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection (Catholic style).
Denominationalists still see themselves as sinners, reprobates, i.e., sinners (present) saved by grace, yet we are rightfully known as Saints. We do not need Roman Catholicism to canonize us into sainthood. We WERE sinners (past tense), and are NOW saints (present tense). Actually, we are trophies of God’s grace, not trophies to our achievements.
How is the body of Christ actually built? Upon the foundation which the Apostle Paul laid. He gave us the gospel of grace, and not only that, but he has shown us how to be edified, both of which make up the foundation he laid, NOW we need to build on that foundation by way of preaching the gospel to lost souls and edifying saved people, i.e., saints, and we build on that foundation soul by soul.
Being blameless in the eyes of the world assists in propagating the Gospel of God to a lost world, and also aids in the edification of saints. A believer who ties themselves to or conforms to the world is not blameless, especially in the eyes of Islam, Hinduism, New Age, et al, and a believer who celebrates Christ Mass and Ishtar is not blameless because of the debauchery associated with these fairy tales.
I am not trying to convince anyone to stop celebrating pagan holydays, my days for doing so are over……… on the contrary, I am looking at it from a different perspective, and I am looking at how some would identify others. Be it as it may, you ARE identified by your beliefs which so happen to materialise in your practices. This is where Mid-Acts Pauline Dispensational Right Division and those who believe it and practise it should leave most thinking as we do not – should not partake in pagan holydays, rituals, the esteeming of one day above another (Sunday), Ishtar, Christ Mass, Lupercalia, and so forth. We are, after all, set-apart from the world, sanctified for God’s use, i.e., preaching the gospel and edifying saints, that is, not being conformed to the world.
Grace Believers, or Mid-Acts Pauline Dispensational Right Dividers are identified by being followers of the Apostle Paul, by believing they are saved by grace, through faith plus nothing, and their faith would be in the gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. They are also identified by rightly dividing the word of truth as instructed in 2 Timothy 2:15.
