The Apostle Paul’s claims and his ministry

1 Corinthians 1:17 – For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

  1. He wasn’t sent to baptize (with water) as most churches do today.
  2. He was sent to preach the gospel, yet most today are ignorant as to what the gospel is which saves men’s souls.

Followers of the Apostle Paul?   No.

1 Corinthians 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:2 – But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

  1. He renounced the hidden things of dishonesty.
  2. Didn’t walk in craftiness
  3. Didn’t handle the word of God deceitfully.

Proof that he was an Apostle sent of God:

2 Corinthians 12:12 – Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.

1 Corinthians 2:1-3 – And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. Not with excellency of speech or of wisdom.

Yet modern-day preachers come with excellency of speech and worldly, man-made wisdom and want to know everything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

1 Corinthians 2:13 – Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

2 Corinthians 7:2 – Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man.

Wronged no man, corrupted no man and defrauded no man – just told them the truth and nothing but the truth.  A claim institutionalized, denominational christianity cannot make as they defraud, corrupt and wrong men every day.

2 Corinthians 10:10 – For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.

Compare this to most Pastors/Preachers of today whose bodily presence is awe-inspiring and bold, dressed to the nines in expensive suits, being clean shaven, “dressed for success” and whose speech is anything but contemptible – they stroke peoples’ “tail feathers” instead, by telling sinners they are worthy and that salvation comes with a change in lifestyle.

2 Corinthians 12: 7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

Today’s preachers claim to seek the Lord on such things and claim healing of same, yet the Apostle Paul sought God 3 times on this matter and the answer was a resounding NO (and with good reason).

2 Corinthians 10:1 10 Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:

But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.

Unlike Dale Carnegie or modern-day preachers who claim rudeness of speech to be unloving, Paul told the Corinthians what they needed to hear in no uncertain terms.

1 Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

2 Corinthians 7:Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.

A lesson we can all learn: to be exceeding joyful in all our tribulation because:

Romans 5: And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Matthew 24:34: Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

This generation.

I remember trying to figure out which generation this was to be when I was an an unsaved Pentecostal pew warmer.

I read a myriad of religious books on the subject, including some of Tim La Haye’s Left Behind series to gain discernment concerning this particular verse, but to no avail.

Some so-called pastors who wrote some of the books I read tried very hard to confirm that our generation was THE generation who would see and experience “these things”, holding to the theory that we should look at the generation that was born at the time of its  (Israel’s) return to the land, i.e., 1948, so 1948 and onwards would be the generation in which this prophecy would come to pass. Is this the reason why a certain apostate christian stated that the tribulation would occur in 1988? That particular generation is now  almost 69 years old.

No doubt, I read these books and studied this particularly scripture in the early 1980’s – which was approximately 30 odd years after Ezekiel’s dry bones prophecy (Ezekiel 37) came to “fruition”, i.e., 1948……. yeah, right, and if you believe that, you’ll believe anything.  Ezekiel 37 is still future.  Those dry bones will only live again in the Tribulation period and thereafter.

I remember, I read and re-read that particular scripture for days on end and tried to make head or tail of it but to no avail. I was stumped.  It was a case of the blind leading the blind – only I tested their theories and didn’t find a suitable, concrete answer.

So here we are in the year 2017 and nothing remotely has happened to confirm we’re living in the time of the beginning of sorrows.

What the Lord Jesus Christ correctly stated is that it would be the generation alive at this particular time, i.e., the beginning of sorrows or the beginning of the tribulation period who would see and experience these things.

The moral of the story being : Do not read religious books to strengthen your innerman or to discern difficult scripture. One needs to read books and religious books to confirm what others believe and/or think on the subject at hand, that way you can discern what people believed/thought throughout the course of history and why, and why it matters and how it affects society and what it believes and how it reacts as a result of these beliefs.

I was yet a babe in Christ when I happened upon an e-book written by a so-called Mid-Acts Dispensationalist. It was an end-time story (tribulation period) much in line with Tim La Haye’s Left Behind series, and even as a newborn babe in Christ I remember being shocked by the author’s theory that even those who took the mark of the Beast during the Tribulation period could confess their sin and be saved in the end, and that there was no sin greater than God’s forgiveness, even during the tribulation, even though it flew in the face of scripture which clearly states that those taking the mark of the Beast in a future time will be damned for eternity.

That book brought me out of my naivete concerning the Grace Movement, to a certain degree, that is. After that I was never the same again, that and the utter control of a so-called Mid-Acts Dispensationalist perverted Bible believing Pastor whose followers thought the sun shone out of his nether regions.  I wasn’t impressed.

“And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day no night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” Revelation 14.

When bringing this  up and questioning it in a certain “Berean” forum I was politely rebuked and basically told to shut up because it didn’t matter and to love, love, love, in other words, don’t think, shut your mouth and be happy.  Love to them means rolling over and playing dead, much like a fish in a gold fish bowl.  Ask no questions, hear no lies.  Don’t worry, be happy.

But did you know the man who sang the song, “Don’t worry, be happy” committed suicide soon after that song was recorded? Which confirms that one’s words do not have extra-sensory powers like some would say, “your words have power” – “speak life” (and then they get driven over by a bus…)

It (the mark of the Beast) might not matter in this current dispensation, but if you get things like that wrong, it means you do not understand God’s grace and/or dispensational changes. If you took the “mark” today, whatever it might be, irrespective of how devilish it is, no matter what Satanic symbol you have tattooed on your body, you could be forgiven if you believed Paul’s gospel and are saved, but not in times to come, that much is plain to see from scripture dispensationally discerned.

It goes without saying that same author eventually flew the coop and is now a full blown Acts 28er. So much for remaining faithful to Pauline doctrine. I see this in many instances in the so-called Grace Movement today, and it happens particularly to those who split the Gentiles into two groups, who eventually cannot see the wood for the trees when it comes to sound Pauline doctrine and so turn to full-blown Acts 28 theology, and believe me, there are many out there, and they’ll argue until the cows come home and beyond. They cannot see the progressiveness of Paul’s epistles – signs, wonders vs cessation of same, therefore they are unable to see the unfolding of the mystery during all of Paul’s 13 epistles. To some the entire mystery was revealed to Paul in one shot in Acts 9. I can only imagine how stressful that would’ve been if it were true. Some people take their sadistic theories and convey it onto others.

Then you get others who state you can “graduate” from “self-righteous school” and be perfect in 100 hours of study, whereas the Apostle Paul calls it a race, which inevitably lasts a lifetime. When did Paul state he had finished the race, that he had fought the good fight? In 2 Timothy – just before his death, when he knew that the entire mystery had been revealed to him. He had fulfilled his high calling. Death is the end. Paul didn’t state he had finished running the race anywhere in any of his pre-prison epistles. Paul knew it was time, that he had reached his “sell-by-date” on this planet.

A mystery had been exclusively revealed to him by the ascended Christ, yet he didn’t brag about being perfect in his pre-prison epistles (or even is prison epistles), in fact in Romans 7 he corroborated his “humanness” (for want of a better word).
It’s much the same as the knuckleheads who believe in a flat earth theory. Will any of them prove it to themselves by looking through a modern telescope at a Planetarium? No. Why? Because they might be disappointed or embarrassed by their own stupidity, as well as their myopic simple-mindedness of believing everything they read on the internet.

If Jack Sprat and his wife jumped into the fire, so would they, no questions asked. They are suspicious of almost everyone and everything. If you wear blue, you’re a Freemason, if you wear pink, you’re gay, if you wear green, you are a muslim, if you wear black, you’re a satanist. I guess that leaves us with red and yellow then……… oh but wait……. not so fast…. lol.

The one even stated, if you don’t believe in a “ridiculous flat earth theory, just think how ridiculous it is believing in a round earth where people live upside down” (at the bottom of the sphere). Strange, all I see is blue sky, and I don’t suffer from vertigo either, because upside down is actually on top, why? Because it’s round – think about it.  Truth is, we’re not totally upside down until we visit the South Pole.

2 Timothy 1:7 ~ “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

Also those who believe that more people are getting cancer today than times past, but all one really needs to do is look at the reality of the situation, there were fewer people on the planet in times past, together with the fact that they didn’t live very long either, like they do today, hence the reason why there weren’t so many incidences of cancer in those days. Cancer was recorded as being in existence in ancient Egypt in the times of the Pharaohs, why, even sharks get cancer – so is it because of their diet? Try telling a shark he cannot eat a “McDonalds Squib burger or a KFC Turtle ” because it will give him cancer (wink).

During Victorian times the average lifespan of a person was approximately 40 years – if that.  Today it is 80 – much more time to get cancer.  Suck it up, buttercup.

The main reason why we get cancer is because we live in a sin-cursed world in sin-cursed bodies. Obesity, smoking, frying oneself to a crisp in the sun too many times, and old age are the main reasons people get cancer, apart from the fact that it’s due to a fault in our DNA, hence the reason babies and toddlers also get cancer, even breast-fed babies.

Sin-cursed, and to think there are those with pathetic neurosis about certain diets which “prevent cancer” or “cure it” – but what will they say and do if they get cancer? Stay off the internet?

It’s much the same as adhering to Kosher dietary laws – it doesn’t mean a thang today. It’s the same as those who believe in reincarnation – they are unable to see that their theory is totally illogical. Example : How can 3 million people from times past be reincarnated into 7 billion people at present?    And what happens during a genocide?  Oops, there goes one’s chance of being reincarnated – you’ll have to come back as an ant instead, and then someone steps on you…..

So the ancient Egyptians ate too many KFC snake steaks, that’s why they got cancer – too many of those dang drive-thru’s  with their chariots. “Buddy, gimme a triple chocolate flavoured  asp milkshake”.   I can just picture it…..  and the Egyptian health freak standing there with his sign, written in hieroglyphics stating “SNAKE STEAKS ARE BAD FOR YOU, THEY GIVE YOU CANCER, REPENT OF YOUR BAD EATING HABITS!!!!”

Back to the drawing board : What are these things the Lord Jesus Christ spoke about in Matthew 24 that would be the beginning of sorrows and how do we know we aren’t living in the time of the beginning of sorrows?

He said there will be hatred and persecution for His name’s sake. In other words, all those who confess Christ to be the Son of God and their Messiah.

He said there would be betrayal – those of the same ilk (beliefs) will turn on one another.

He said there would be false prophets. There aren’t any prophets today because Israel is lo-ammi and her prophetic programme is in abeyance, so there cannot be any false prophets today, only hereticks.

It is a time when the branch of the fig tree is still yet tender – just sprouted, coming into being (Israel) and the summer (the Millennium Kingdom) is nigh.  Makes one wonder how current day “prophets” interpret the fig-tree?  1948’s version of Israel?

He states that no man knows the hour or the day this will occur, yet you get people today who try and date the tribulation, like some Mid-Acts Dispensationalists I know who say that we’re currently living in the time of the beginning of sorrows. Bible blending under the ruse of rightly dividing the word of truth.

He says just as in the time of Noah, so these days will be – people going about their EVERY DAY business,  with their everyday lives as usual, as if nothing bothers them – drinking, still going to pubs and bars, parties, marrying, probably having kids too, etc, just like they did before Noah boarded the Ark (going about their everyday lives and chores). This reflects their total unbelief. No fear, no preparation (what do I believe? Am I saved? What do I need to believe/do in order to be saved?).  What is happening around me and why?  What is God doing?    Where am I in the Bible?

Then he continues to talk about a catching away of saints – two in a field, one is taken away, and the other left. Two at a mill, one taken, the other left.  This isn’t the catching away of the body of Christ, it’s a rapture during the tribulation period. Read it for yourself in the book of Revelation.

He states too, that THIS kingdom gospel will be preached throughout the world unto all nations before the end comes.   That is the gospel that will be in effect during the Tribulation, not Paul’s grace gospel.  Compare 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 with Matthew, Mark, Luke & John.  Pull Paul’s epistles out of the Bible and the doctrine flows freely without contradictions.

He says that iniquity will abound in a dispensation where God requires good works (applying righteousness) to prove one’s faith during the tribulation, and that righteousness can be applied by way of blessing Israel (the Little Flock), protecting her, helping her escape persecution (if you’re a Gentile). Faith without works is dead during this dispensation which is part of the Millennium dispensation.

And that’s actually how simple it is to discern Matthew 24.

I’ll be frank (no my name isn’t Frank…)

The skewed logical of denominationalism prevails:

*It’s what goes into the body (foodwise and topically on the skin) that makes the body (flesh) a good temple of the Holy Ghost.  White teeth are a sign that your temple is good, you’re going to get a reward for it in heaven…. said the Apostle Paul never.

*It’s what comes out of the mind (irrespective of what it has been fed) that makes one a good christian.

When the Apostle Paul refers to our flesh/our physical bodies as being a temple of the Holy Spirit he says it in relation to sexual misconduct, i.e., perversion and fornication, he never says it in relation to organic food or having a food neurosis of sorts.

I’m not quoting scripture – it’s by time you went and looked these things up for yourself and confirmed them.

It is how you mortify your flesh – subdue it or discipline it in relation to fornication or other sexual misconduct BECAUSE it is the temple of the Holy Spirit.  All food today is considered good if received with……….. thanks, keeping in mind that people do have preferences.  No brussels sprouts for me……… thank yew.

The irony of the matter is that those who profess to look after their bodies and eat healthy because it is the temple of the Holy Spirit are the very same folk who commit fornication (sex before marriage) then run around trying to justify those very deeds in the flesh.

Okay, so if it wasn’t/isn’t wrong, then why are you trying to justify it by telling everyone you’re “in a relationship” or you’re going to get married anyway?  Some will even go to the extent that being married isn’t standing in front of a preacher/a licensed marriage officer,  but that you can make up your own private vows and be married “without the world” or anyone being privy to the fact.

That’s their (silly) logic.  Quickly make something up while quaffing organic ginger and carrot juice.  So, okay, then how does anyone know you were married – no witnesses?  So who will be able to tell whether you’re divorced or not or that your children are legitimate.  Oh, how can we believe it?  And what rights do you have in this world as a married person?  Uh let’s see…………. time to take ye olde brain out of the freezer………..

These are the same folk who “study” their way through various preachers/teachers (flavour of the month) videos and audios, absorb the biggest load of trite one can imagine, then profess with the other side of their forked tongue that they’re “joint-heirs with Christ”, but are unable to discern between unsaved men in Romans 1 and saved men in Paul’s prison epistles.  Same people who are always running around trying to find a new thing, people who find the gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 to be total foolishness, people who believe Paul speaks of two types of salvation – one of the spirit, and the other of the flesh.

God does number one (saves you in the flesh by way of Romans 3, telling you in Romans 3:25 you have remission of your sins……..)  and then, you do number two all by ye little olde self, therefore, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 saves you in your flesh (only), why? because the Apostle Paul mentions it to people who have already been saved in their spirit and now need to be saved in their flesh by believing how that Christ died, was buried and rose again on the third day for their (fleshly) justification………

Same folk believe the gospel to be “saved by the blood”, omitting Christ’s burial and resurrection – just as the Corinthians did – that’s the irony of the whole situation, but they are blind to the fact.   They are the very Corinthians Paul had issues with.

Hence the reason why they have to split justification and sanctification and also believe the entire world which consists of Christ deniers, Christ haters, atheists, sinners – are all reconciled to God because they cannot make head nor tail of 2 Corinthians 15.

Yes, chop it all up (justification and sanctification) and then some of them have the “intelligent” knack of having RECONCILED (past tense) a world of sinners (when Paul specifically uses the word RECONCILING – present tense) to a holy, righteous God.  ???  Beam me up, there’s no intelligent life down here – one of the reasons I’d love to opt out of this world – it’s tough being surrounded by knuckleheads.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch the same goofy tin foil hat specialists are trying to convince everyone the (obviously) wicked, evil world is (obviously) run by wicked, evil stooges, who ironically they also vote for hehehe, and conveniently forget about the subtle more prevalent evil standing behind the pulpits of so-called christian churches who make people believe they’re on their way to heaven when in fact they’re not…… some even confess that these folk are actually saved and that it’s just that they lack the ability/knowledge to rightly divide…….   makes you think, doesn’t it?

Saw a sign outside a restaurant the other day, it said:

“America and Britain are in competition to see who can mess up their countries the most, currently Britain is ahead, but America has the trump card.

People, if you don’t realise it – the world is in a total and utter mess (and that’s an understatement) – it has no redeeming qualities.  No politician  will be able to make it better, he/she will just fleece you in a different and more *spectacular* way.  When I listen to Donald Trump and his Caitlyn Jenner look-alike wife, I can’t help but shake my head.  Would she really be his wife if he had no money and looked the way he does?  Donald is on a power trip of sorts.

Sound logic tells me that as a saved person, my body (of flesh) is the temple of the Holy Spirit and therefore I need to respect the fact and not commit any sexual misdeeds in order not to grieve the Holy Spirit.  All food is good for the body – if accepted/received with thanks.  All animals are considered good in this dispensation.  If the illuminati are trying to kill you by “doctoring the food” and you’re saved – well hey!  be my guest!  Unshackle me from the chains of this present evil world.   Bring on the GMO and preservative laced, MSG coated beef chow mein and let me enjoy.  I bet those who are starving won’t say no either.

It is my thought that some people need to be taken out of their cushy first world environments and be left in the heart of Africa or Asia to experience the suffering of the poor – to feel what it’s really like not to have enough food to eat.

Sound logic tells me that what goes into my mind will be the deciding factor of what comes out of it – whether it is renewed or not.  Dung in, dung out.  If I absorb garbage, I will speak garbage, I will think garbage and I will believe and propagate garbage, even under the ruse of sound Pauline doctrine.

The secret lies not in organic foods to keep my (vile) body healthy, the secret lies in absorbing sound (organic) Pauline doctrine rightly divided in order to keep my mind healthy, and so renew it, and when it is renewed it will help in controlling, subduing and disciplining my vile body.

But alas, one can talk until the cows come home – it won’t make a dent in the thick skull of some because they have a special spiritual status after all – of their own doing.

Question :  How do you know you’ve gained joint-heirship with Christ?

Because you’ve studied a man-made curriculum?

Because you actually believe the garbage fed to you?

Because you are adamant in saving your (vile) flesh which will one day be destroyed?

Good works in this current dispensation include believing sound Pauline doctrine, preaching the gospel of Christ and edifying saints.

It’s not having organic cookies and tea with the ladies and talking about your cooking and baking.

2 Corinthians 12:10  Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Infirmities – physical or mental weakness; fragility; failty

Reproaches – Others’ disapproval, scolding or criticism

Persecutions – Discrimination, oppression, maltreatment

Distress – Extreme anxiety, pain or sorrow

Necessities – What is required, indispensable, essential, namely, preaching the gospel

For Christ’s sake – not because of any personal reasons, but because I preach the gospel to see souls saved.   I preach what He did for us on Calvary’s cross and His resurrection on the 3rd day.

When you are weak or perceived to be weak in this world/by the world, then you are strong spiritually because you have foresaken the things of this world.

One would think it’s coffee, cake, dessert, going on holiday, being with one’s family……. no it’s taking pleasure in distress, infirmities, persecutions, reproaches and necessities.

Most howl and call for prayer at the first sign of trouble………. “Please pray…….”

I take pleasure in all of this because I know that I will not contend with reproaches, infirmities and distress for eternity.  Why?

Because of what He did for me, and that I am a member of the body of Christ, and that I belong to Him.

Philippians 2:10-11

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Meanwhile, on this side of the planet, Al Gore’s climate change theory is coming true wink.

We are currently experiencing drought conditions for a year already (don’t tell anyone but it’s due to El Nino), but all the christians so-called are praying for rain or telling everyone to pray for rain   “God is stronger than El Nino”.

Since God isn’t personally working in any one person’s life today, praying for rain in’t going to work.  It’s not about God being stronger than El Nino, it’s about living in a sin cursed world where evil things happen on a daily basis.  It might rain lightly on occasion during this period, but there will be no major rainfall.

Hurricanes in North America have their beginnings in the hot, dry climate of the Sahara desert, as well as the hot wet weather conditions in the Gulf of Guinea on the west African coast.  The hot air is moved by winds in a westerly direction and picks up the humidity along the gulf which in turn results in storms, sometimes in tropical cyclones which later develop into hurricanes, due to the fact that they are further energised by the humid conditions present over the Atlantic Ocean.

There have been bigger hurricanes than today, so the fact that Al Gore leads people to believe that current day hurricanes are worse due to global warming is just plain goofy, besides, there is almost no carbon footprint so called present in the Sahara desert or along the gulf coast of New Guinea.  Weather patterns are volatile, some years are just hotter than others due to different reasons.

A request to pray for rain from a denominational “christian” :

Translated :

Rain, thunder – something that we haven’t heard in ages!!!  Today, I want this message broadcast throughout the world!   There isn’t a specific time you must pray, just pray as soon as you receive this message.  People, it’s no longer a joke, the dams are drying up and one of these days we won’t be able to take a bath, there won’t be water to quench our thirst or to cook food.   Pray and request sincerely, leave the other things you may be concerned with and pray!!  Make time for Jesus!!!   And when the clouds build up, just don’t say “it mustn’t rain right now”, think about tomorrow! The time to pray is now, it is now the time to ask!!!  Pray is strength and everything is possible with God!

Pray together, send this to everyone you know.

Isn’t it strange how these heathen christians always want everything to be done NOW and “make time for Jesus” when things get desperate?   It seems not even they believe in having faith – “those who wait upon the Lord….?”

I’m stuck in this drought too, but my line of thinking is that planning and putting certain criteria into place would have been better as it would have prevented the current crisis.  Since humans have been on this earth for thousands of years, and droughts have occurred during those thousands of years, one would think that they would have learnt by now.  But my honest opinion is that they do not want to do anything about it because it suits their climate change agenda – yet another good reason to implement carbon tax and make billions from ignorant people, and if some of those ignorant people die in the process, well all the better.

Satan’s plan and purpose is to keep lost men and women lost, and if they do not come to the knowledge of truth before they die, all the better, and if they die because hardly anyone cares, that’s also good.

Personally, I am of the opinion that Mid-Acts Dispensationalists who adhere to sound doctrine and preach the gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 have the worst time of all on this earth.  This world just isn’t kitted out for anyone who knows the truth and lives a life in accordance to the fellowship of the mystery.

I look at my own life, and although I am only in primary school (with respect to working out my salvation), I know that people aren’t too comfortable with my belief system – in fact, they think I’ve lost the plot, after all, christians should be happy and care about animals in need, and their dead mothers are angels  in heaven looking over them, they believe all people are inherently good, they tithe and receive blessings for doing so, doctrine schmoktrine – who cares?  The letter kills and the Spirit gives life, so if you aren’t born-again, you simply don’t have the Spirit – translated, that means you shouldn’t be reading the Letter, i.e., your Bible because the doctrine contained therein is so legalist it will kill you or your spirit or God’s Spirit which is happiness and light.   After all, you are led by the Spirit, not by the Bible………  this is what they believe out there, and then along you come,

……….. and they are at odds firstly because you can quote Bible verses and have much to say about certain topics that they’ve never heard in their lives, not even from their s0-called Pastors and Teachers.    You can almost read their minds, “Who does she think she is?”

You believe you are saved by simple faith in Christ’s finished work on Calvary’s cross and His resurrection, you believe you cannot lose your salvation, you believe Paul is your apostle today, and you “throw away three-quarters of the Bible”, horrors.  What a scandal!  And you think and say you are normal?  But they think you are ripe and ready for the Funny Farm.

Apart from that, you think Christendom as a whole is wrong  (there’s that arrogance yet again) – who do you think you are?  Sis!  You don’t even have anything good to say about Mother Theresa (who was a good person and is now in heaven), and neither do you have anything flattering to say about the Pope, Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyers, and you do not have any forgiveness in your heart either, in fact, you’re just a terrible, terrible person.

They are amazed that human nature in it’s most basest form doesn’t surprise you – it can rather be expected, but at the same token you know all too well the remedy for rotten human nature – faith in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.  They are under the impression that the cure for the rotten human nature is self-help/self-improvement books and Tutors.  They go the DIY christian route.

Are you a bad person?   Improve yourself because Jesus loves you.  This includes repenting of all the bad things you (remember), and just hope for the best concerning the things you don’t (remember).  From hereon forward, you can demand anything you want or need, because Jesus needs your compliments, prayers and praise, after all, he won’t do anything without you praising his name, that’s all it takes.

Ever been praised insincerely?  Received back-handed compliments?  Know how it feels to be used by someone?  So why do you praise him knowing full well you want something in return?   It’s called “using someone” until you can find someone better, that is, like your Bank Manager, a wealthy husband or winning the lotto.

How people think and what they believe is getting worse, or it’s just blatantly more in the open these days.  It makes me wince how people put happiness down to being Reiki Masters and think what the world needs right now is “healing”, most of the time you find people drinking themselves to death, the one comment was, “I don’t want to be sober in a world like this” – and I can well see their point, but it’s not the answer, because one day they  will be sober in hell and will have to face it for eternity.  The thought of most people spending eternity in hell sickens me – there’s no way out.

The other point is, how do you possibly get through to a person who reckons themselves to be happy and fulfilled on this planet because (a) they are blessed in that they have family, (b) they go places, (c) they have important jobs, (d) they are nice/good/kind people?

My point is, they already have all they need, and that is sufficient for them, so they surely do not want to listen to an old nag who expounds “dead doctrine”, a brand of christianity that doesn’t incorporate blessings and more blessings (so there’s nothing in it for them), and thirdly, it’s awfully boring, after all, there are more exciting things to do than study the Bible.  THEY perceive YOU as being a non-entity.

I know all too well how the Apostle Paul felt when the Jews wouldn’t listen to him and get saved.

Once you are saved and you look at the “happiness” of this world, or the “happiness” this world purports to give people, you know you do not belong here.    Each day I realise it more and more – there’s no “I’ve only got one life, so I must live it” for me, in fact my life means I need to follow the Apostle Paul as he followed the ascended Christ, and to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) to the lost and to some of the so-called saved too.

I simply do not get excited about anything on this planet anymore, the closest I’ll come to excitement nowadays is camping out in the bush.  I think I’ve become rather cynical with this world and the things of the world because I can see eternity and it looks mighty good.  I cannot understand anymore how people can continually wake up in a bad mood in the mornings and walk around like they’ve been sucking on lemons the whole day.  But actually, I do know, it’s just that I cannot wrap my mind around it, because I left that mindset behind eons ago, my only beef is that I wake up each morning and I’m still in this world, but I wake up knowing who I am and who I belong to, and my general prayer is, “Please Lord, don’t let me live to 80, 90 or 100 because I don’t want to be in this world that long as I might lose my mind being surrounded by ignorance, blatant stupidity, unbelief, gross incompetence and evil”.

The heart Christian vs The Head Christian?

I had a conversation with someone yesterday.  It went something like this :

“Such-and-such a person is a christian, he goes to church almost every day and he prays every day.  Just before he comes into work, he attends a prayer meeting every morning, and he’s in church every Sunday, no, he’s a big christian, he’s supposed to be good, but he isn’t, he treats his staff very badly and walks in and helps himself to my stock.  He also tithes religiously every month, he gives his church 10% come what may, but you know what, I think he’s a head christian and not a heart christian.  He does things and believes from the head which is wrong, not here (*hand on heart*), with the heart, and that is his problem.”

My reply was that first of all Israel’s tithe under the Levitical law of the Old Covenant doesn’t apply to us today, that it is none of our business.

Blank stare.  Rendered speechless.

I also stated that the man isn’t a christian at all and quoted the point that standing in a garage doesn’t make you a car, so going to church and praying everyday doesn’t make one a christian.

“Uh…………. yes………….. I know.”

I also added that those like him (as stated in the second paragraph hereof) were the ones one had to be careful of as they were the biggest hypocrites because they run off their own (self) righteousness as their minds are still corrupt, they’re still in the flesh, they are unsaved men and women, and there’s nothing more difficult than being fueled by one’s own righteousness because you cannot keep up the pretence for too long.  You become outward looking and not inward looking.

You look at everyone’s faults or good works to gauge whether they are saved or not, or a good person or not, and although they fail to see their own faults, they measure themselves against others and come to the conclusion that they are saved/good people because they attend church religiously, attend prayer meeting every day, do good works, etc and most others do not measure up them.

Do you measure yourself against others to feel good, or do you measure yourself by faith in the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4), knowing you are a saved person and that the next step is edification (to do good works and so run the race, i.e., work out your salvation (with fear and trembling).

Most saved people do not consider the fact that one day they’re going be in attendance at the Judgment Seat of Christ before the Lord of all, the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Creator of the universe, Almighty God Himself, knowing that they did wrong and have to face Him.   That thought scares me, as much as I cannot wait to see Him and look forward to the blessed hope.

They do not understand that the slate has been wiped clean concerning their sins (forgiven/redeemed), but that they are still responsible for what they do in the flesh during their tenure on this earth as a member of the Body of Christ.

You are still responsible for your actions even though you are saved.  You should know better knowing/believing what you do.

Most saved people cannot discern between their spirit man (the innerman) and their flesh (the outerman).  It’s people like these who go by the motto, “Don’t judge me because I sin differently to you.”

If you behave like a maroon it’s time to receive some sound edification to repent (change your mind about behaving like a maroon).

Most remain spiritual babies or in the flesh after being saved because not many Grace Preachers/Teachers preach that it’s not okay to be saved and behave like a maroon, because they behave like maroons themselves, then those spiritual babes go onto preach and teach themselves and it’s just a total mess.

How come there are Grace Believers out there who insist on fellowshipping with certain people who call themselves Right Dividers, but who deny the gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4?

I do not associate with gospel deniers who profess to be saved, and I do not associate with people who profess to be saved and believe in another Jesus.  Light cannot associate with darkness.  Read your Bible (which hopefully is an Authorised King James Bible), it tells you exactly that.

I do not associate with people who surround themselves the Pastors/Teachers and goofy doctrine because sooner rather than later it will rub off on me.   The Apostle Paul tells you so – a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

You need to study this for yourself in order to be convinced.
